Attrition Character Line-Up
At the current, we have four players:
- K-Slacker’s Character: Kaphred
- Aneurysm’s Character: Ako
- Second Variety’s Character: Tank
- Mr. Meth’s Character: Mason Breth
As we acquire more players, the above list will be updated.
Describing Your Character
Please leave comments on this page regarding your character’s personality, physical description, and background. You may provide as little or as much information about your character as you wish on this page. If you prefer to let the other players learn about your character during the game, that’s fine. However, you should at least provide a short description of their “first-impression” personality, and their “at-a-glance” physical description. Character background is up to you. You aren’t required to comment on your character’s history here, however I ask that you send me their history in an e-mail.
As of right now, I have good concept of Ako and Tank’s history. Still, I’d like a short write-up of everyone’s past, because I like to tailor the campaign to the characters tightly.

Decay: The Remnants of Earth 
TANK
Rumor has it “Tank” is from the Northwest Quadrant of The Sprawls and on the run from Vigo the Cruel for killing some of Vigo’s men. He is also said to owe large sums of money to one Dexter a “pharmacist” in The Hub. Some say he is soft hearted but you wouldn’t get that impression from looking at him.
Tank gets his nickname from his physique. Although only about 5’11” (180 cm), he is a mass of well honed muscle weighing about 210 lbs (95 kg). He wears an outlander cap and face cloth and an outlander shirt/jacket over a covert suit. There is the distinctive shape of a ballistic vest under the shirt/covert suit. On his hands and arms are leather gauntlets/gloves, the kind with lead pieces over the knuckles and a lead strip across the back of the hand. As is probably common, he is bristling with weapons. (assuming Tank is right handed) He has a knife on his right calf/boot, a stun baton on the right side of his belt with a heavy 10mm pistol on the left (handle sticking forward for cross drawing). On his back is slung a combat shotgun on one side and a long blade in a sheath built into his pack on the other. A bandolier is across his chest holding shotgun shells.

He’s taller than most, and wears a thick black leather jacket that makes him look bigger than he actual is. He keeps it unzipped most of the time, and has two holsters hidden on the inside pockets each holding one of his magnums. He’s got a thin section of a well-maintained scruff that boarders the outline of his face into his lower jaw, and dark blue eyes. His under the jacket is a greyscale camouflage heavy shirt, and a black bandana hung loosely around his neck like an old bandito mask. He’s got heavy green cargos with leather patches built in strategically, and a pair of leather brown boots. He keeps a knife on his side belt, a wrist telecom always on, and he’s got a large USA Post-office courier bag whipped over his shoulder to hold the rest of his possessions.
Mason tries to keep himself as clean as he can afford to, which often varies.

I’m liking the all characters this game. I think you and I have a little more free time on our hands right now to post and check the boards. Once my guy meets up with your crew I think we’ll be able to flow well.
… … I’m interested in the reaction between Mason being a chem-carrying chem-dependant kind of guy, in the same group as Ako, who has a severe allergy to Chems.
Comment by Mr Meth October 5, 2007 @ 1:22 amStrange as it may sound, I have little free time, working 70-80 hour weeks, plus kids and a remodeling project going on. Surviving in a PA world seems tame in comparison.
I just tend to spew forth a response and hope there are not too many typos. A five minute break to post helps relieve the stress.
I do have the advantage that I can post from work no problem.
I wonder if the chem allergy is more to environmental chems versus the pharma kind.
